O Google lançou o Chrome! Subprocessos, threads, webkit, V8, opensource! Em um teste de 2 minutos numa VM com Windows posso dizer que ele é lindo!
Por falar em subprocessos, Python 2.6 foi lançado tem suporte a eles, quer dizer, uma ótima alternativa as threads e o GIL!

hehehe de fato. Agora só falta uma coisinha, lambdas legais no python! Os lambdas do Python são muito ruins na minha humilde opinião!

“By popular demand, a few features commonly found in functional programming languages like Lisp have been added to Python. With the lambda keyword, small anonymous functions can be created. Here’s a function that returns the sum of its two arguments: “lambda a, b: a+b”. Lambda forms can be used wherever function objects are required. They are syntactically restricted to a single expression. Semantically, they are just syntactic sugar for a normal function definition.”
Lambdas em python são syntax sugar bestinha pra expressões que possam receber argumento.
Proc e Lambda em Ruby são realmente definições de funções, recebem um bloco e pode-se passar argumentos para ele. Melhor, sem restrições.
